Cold Calling: Book Inspections On Demand
This module is the money-maker. You’ll learn what to say, how to say it, the best times to call, and how to test your market so you can consistently reach homeowners and set inspections.
The Only Goal: Book the Inspection
This is not a “roof sales call.” This is an inspection booking call. Your job is to reach the homeowner, sound professional, and get a yes to a quick inspection.
The Call Flow (Do This Every Time)
-
1
Use their name immediately.
“Hi [Owner First Name] — this is [Your Name].” -
2
Credibility in one line.
“We work alongside insurance companies and we’re offering free roof inspections.” -
3
Simple question.
“Have you had anyone look at your roof recently?” -
4
Offer two time options.
“Would tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning work better?” -
5
Confirm + close.
Address + time + “We’ll take photos and keep it simple.”
Non-Negotiable Rules
- Do not argue. If they push back, ask one calm question and move on.
- Do not sound like a script. Same structure, different words.
- Do not ask “when works?” Offer two choices to reduce thinking.
- Do not stop at the first number. Call every number for each record.
- Log outcomes immediately (contact, no answer, wrong, booked, follow-up).
Generate a Cold Call Script That Matches Your Style
Choose your tone and approach, then generate a script you can read naturally. Always use the owner’s name the moment you start speaking — it boosts attention and keeps you in control.

Next Up: Follow-Up System + Turning “No” Into Inspections
Most money isn’t made on the first call — it’s made on the follow-up. In the next module you’ll learn exactly how to track leads, how to follow up without being annoying, and how to turn “not right now” into scheduled inspections.
